I am not a very fast typer...but I sure WISH I was! I didn't have computer class when I went to school. We had to learn in high school...and by then, it was too late. I was already a chicken..I pecked at those keys like crazy. We have 4 scheduled computer classes and it's up to you to work on your typing skills at that time. These are things things I am looking for:
Proper posture
Proper finger placement
Being a good listener
Putting effort into your work- PROOFREADING
I don't just look for these criteria when you are doing Typing Pal, I am watching for these computer skills all the time. When you're in Math Playground, when you are learning a new skill or when you are making a Photostory.
Practise using the proper fingers on the correct keys and I promise that it WILL get easier.
